Raining is a common phenomenon.
A few days back, in the evening it started raining. There was power failure, I didn't have anything to do so I came out of my lab to watch the drops falling, something that I have done so many times. But that day found it was different.
As it rained, each drop fell as a single entity. At times stopped by the leaves of the trees on the yard of my lab. But then they compile into one big drop and finally fall down to join the big puddle formed due to the unevenness of the ground. Then this water finally joins somewhere the sea, must be isn't it? where else will the water go!
In the same way when moments come, they come as single entity. Sometimes stopped because of special reasons and then they accumulate in our memory. And finally join the vast scope of eternity.
But then I cannot retrieve back the individual raindrops from the puddle. Isn't that unfair? I have to hold them as an aggregate. The same thing happens to our memory.
Rain kept falling and I got drowned into my puddle of thoughts. As always!

Gr8 shubhi... thnks for giving my thoughts a new dimension.
Hi Anki!
A simple yet so thoughtful way of not only perceiving the happenings around you, but also giving them a wonderful meaning so that all we touch, hear or see becomes a reason to learn some thing – isn’t it all so sweet n admirable !
As for the Raindrops… 1 cant stop realizing the bare truth hidden in your lines – for even when we leave contact of friends – all what remains is memories as a whole – while the small incidents which made them are lost somewhere – but then, just like some raindrops (NOT ALL) become pearls embedded in mollusks, there are some ‘Individual’ incidents which stand on their own – while others – dedicate their existence to a better cause - for imagine if the sea wasn’t there – that you could remember all your acquaintances ‘only’ through individual incidents – while the pleasure of a collective and whole-some sense of intimacy / affection were absent – that would have been also somewhat inadequate (I believe). All what is there in this world – is to be admired – for mother nature hasn’t been unfair to anyone – just the way we look differs (Hey NOT to say anything ‘against’ You or Your thoughts– but just a humble statement :-)
God Bless You Sis!
Bye
i agree with u as well as shubhi, its just the thing u had compelled me think of as i had never given a thought to it....
unlike aquarians i never think too much . but this is the reality...
we must accept it ....
Nice write up.
Analysis is splitting an issue into number of smaller things and then looking into each thing seperately. Synthesis is looking at the bigger picture.
From my experience, i can say MBA teaches 'analysis' - looking at water drops and finiding out where the problem is.
Top management looks at the bigger picture - the sea. Business schools fail to teach how to look at the bigger picture. It comes only with work experience..
Both analysis and synthesis are very important..
A drop comes fast,
touches my heart,
makes me soft,
and soon gets lost.
all of us confront rain,
a few feel the same,
but ur words played a game,
and got stored in my RAM.
